Well known SF awards include the

• Arthur C Clarke Award ("Clarke Award"),
• Hugos given at the Worldcon
• Nebula awards from the writers body SFWA
• BSFA Awards

Some less well known ones include:

• Doc Weir for being a Good Egg in fandom
• Phlosque for art which is, well, um, Phlosque-like.
• The Rory. The Award for the most gratuitous use of the word "fuck" in a serious Wiki Screenplay. (made up by Douglas Adams and not real)

There are also Fan Funds which can be seen as "fannish charities"
